I am so glad you stopped by.

I attended CAMP OBAMA in Palm Desert Ca last week, where I met 4 amazing people from the Morongo Basin.
It seems our entire area has been off the "radar screen" of the Campaign headquarters, due to no organized group.
6 hours of training and 7 days later Morongo Basin Team Obama, held our first phone bank yesterday,  during which, 22,  enthusiastic, willing, volunteers, listened to 5 minutes of training then hit the phones, calling into  into Nevada, a key battleground state.
By 2pm all numbers provided by headquarters were called.
I have been a member of many groups and organizations over my 45+ yrs thus far; however, I have never been part of a small group of people ,coming together,reaching out to other people, and accomplishing an amazing task in what felt like a blink of an eye.
I am not the same person I was a week ago
I no longer feel alone , in political  angst * frustration.
I have met incredible individuals with such determination, willingness, and motivation, that I know we will take back our nation.
I am now part of a community effort, willing to do whatever it takes to ensure  that Barack Obama is the next president of the United States.
