www.desertnana.etsy.com Last year I traveled to my folks place In Florida to help out while my Dad had heart surgery. I had never in my life seen a crane, let alone a sandhill crane, let alone a Florida sand hill crane with babies!!! I did not travel with my good photo equipment which of course , I regretted after being able to observe these amazing prehistoric birds. I have been losing myself in vintage antique photography. I truly love this part of running my vintage shop on Etsy.
Why I dare to say- as much as the actual joyous treasure hunting
Gasp! ~ I did not think anything (non relationship with real human beings) would ever rise to the same place on my favorite things to do list.
I think it is the constant learning and surprises that occur while I attempt to create beautiful vintage antique photographs of vintage goodies for sale in my vintage shop.
Now if I can just find a post production expert, to save me 2-4 hrs a day
I might begin to feel some true satisfaction.
Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers—
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through!
from a larger then average Desert Leprechaun =)
remember our day athe zoo?
one moment before i clicked my camera we were laughing at the Gorillas
the Gorillas were throwing big handfuls of hay at each other
You shouted ~
"look Nana Look!"
as a big male tumbled head first over his playmate
You burst out laughing
i started laughing
at that very moment
I remember thinking and feeling
This is Heaven
I stopped and took a big breathe
just as my camera froze this frame of you
I clicked open the deepest part of my heart
and placed this moment inside
so I might feel the fullness of the joy
that is You
when I am far away
on the Left coast
I only viewed one or two who did not have scars on their backs from encounters with boat propellers
