Happy First Day of Fall Dear Friends!

My black feather topped friends have been absent for over a week from the Retro ranch. I am thinking they felt the signs of Fall upon them and have headed somewhere.
Of course it could also be my busy Election work taking me off of the Retro Ranch, and missing several late day feeding fills.
Or it could be the painters spraying our house and every other dam thing around it that sent them moving away from the sounds and smells...
As usual I do no know the reason ; but ,I sure do miss them and hope the are safe and well fed wherever they may be
