How I love this time of year in the Mojave desert!
Oh-I know I wrote about the welcome cooling of our Mojave temperature recently; but;- hey! with all the bad news flying around in our country, I feel it even more fitting to celebrate the most minute of Joys!-if only for a few minutes.

Hello Dear Visitor
As you can see I was able to muddle my way through returning this blog to some semblance of viewability-did i just make up that word??
This image was not the original image that I upload DIRECTLY FROM FLICKR this morning.
Yes, by resetting my blog settings on Flickr- I am able to return to my old, familiar ways of blogging directly from Flickr. Somehow, my original image vanished, and because I have almost the same amount of photos in my files as the bail out package has dollars, I just grabbed the first decent thumbnail and clicked insert image.
In the midst of this mix-up, faithful LAURA, left me a message, that made me burst into full belly laughter!
so thankyou , wonderful Laura, my far away friend in a land I long to visit.
Now its back to Getting out the vote.
