How I wish I could be in Washington D.C. celebrating with the masses.
We worked so hard to get to this Historical Day.

I Know...I Know.. for all of my vistors who come to see the nature, I
apologize. I had planned on having a seperate blog for The Retro
Ranch,but thus far, time constraints have kept me from completing that
goal. For now we will both have to be Patient while I get my Etsy
shop going.
You know how I adore the hummingbirds; well, the came to the feeder
and porch to find shelter from the storm. I Enjoyed every single
moment of it.

Our Joyful Christmas Visit with Loved One Came and went in the blink of an eye!
I had serious photography frustration, as my beloved Olympus would not focus or shoot in low light.
My beloved discovered on our last day in Pittsburgh that the protective lens we had recently purchased for my short lens(the one I was using) was Loose! Thus the camera could not perform its functions!!!
So, I failed to have my usual wonderful photo shoots of all the people I Love. (sigh)

The solution-throw together a collage of a bunch of not great shots, for our memory books.

I Love and Miss All of you so much my heart aches.

These Are the Moments

II know I promised the historic Joshua Tree Snow storm story; but, I got the flu bug and am just now getting caught up. My sister, the fantastic photographer blue in the burgh , took this shot of me and Sadie and I just had to share it with you. Yes I was exhausted after spending 4 extra hours inside a jet sitting on the runway of the Denver Intl airport, while another jet had crashed., which of course they did not tell us, (thank god)- so we did not arrive to PA till 2am, where we schlepped our luggage over to the Rental car garage only to be told the computer was down and we would have to wait another hour!
I chose to stay in a state of gratitude that we were not on board the plane that had crashed.
This is the next morning, with just a few hours of sleep I finally had Miss Sadie in my arms.
